The
KAWECO AL Sport series follows the original octagonal design of 1935 - 'Small
in the pocket, big in the hand'.
The oversized cap assembly creates a small closed pen, but in full length when
the cap snaps back.
The length of the roller is 10.5 cm closed and has a cap that unscrews and
snaps on the back with a total length of 13 cm.
It is made of hard, solid aluminum and weighs about 22g.
Contains fast-flowing gel ink that dries quickly.
It is equipped with a SCHMIDT Gel replacement. The spare part is made in Japan.
Since 1905, Kaweco had already manufactured the first metal writing
instruments. Products that used to be made of silver or gold, today are made of
aluminum, in the AL Sport series by Kaweco.
When we say AL Sport we mean a body made of high-quality die-cast aluminum CNC
machined, so that it maintains its strength and its flawless finish.
It has a nickel-plated logo on the cap, Kaweco AL Sport printed in white and
with silver details i.e. nib when it comes to the Fountain Pen, ring when it
comes to the Ball Pen and the Mechanical Pencil.
The series features the Kaweco logo in metallic color on the top of the lid.
